1. Data Collection & Purpose
When you interact with the Big G assistant on this portfolio, the following data is processed:
- Chat Inputs: Text you type into the chat widget is processed to generate real-time AI responses.
- Contact Information: If you utilize the “Leave your email” feature, your email address is collected solely so I can reply directly to your inquiry.
- Technical Data: Basic server logs, which may include IP addresses, are temporarily stored to ensure the security, stability, and bug-testing of this custom widget architecture.
2. Third-Party Processing
This chat assistant operates on a decoupled custom backend. To generate intelligent responses, text inputs are securely routed to Anthropic via the Claude API. Your conversational data and inputs are strictly prohibited from being used to train Anthropic’s public AI models.
3. Data Retention
- Anthropic: Retains temporary API interaction logs for a maximum of 30 days for security and trust monitoring, after which they are permanently deleted.
- Custom Backend: Emails and chat context stored on the custom backend are retained for 90 days for beta testing and system debugging before automatic deletion.
4. Your Privacy Rights
You retain the right to access, correct, or request the immediate deletion of your personal data at any time.
